Buckland Computers was established in 1997 and is owned and run by Stephen Fryer.
Stephen has over 40 years experience of working in the IT industry, having started out in the early 1980s programming and repairing Sinclair ZX81 and Spectrum computers. After working for many years as a service engineer, repairing a multitude of different equipment from vending machines to juke boxes, Stephen found himself being called upon more and more to repair computers and decided to set up Buckland Computers.
He has recently been invited to join the Horrabridge Repair Café Team. The Café is open from 11am to 1pm in Horrabridge Church Hall, on the third Saturday of the month (not August).
After over 30 years in business, Buckland Computers’ friendly, approachable service has lead to a strong client base of both home and business customers throughout the Plymouth, West Devon and East Cornwall areas.
Stephen has DBS clearance for working in schools and with vulnerable people. Buckland Computers is a member of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
